Famous people have money and can influence their country (or world). Money +/- Popularity = power.
I've noticed that somebody on YouTube can do something like, a whole channel just for a particular video game/movie series for walkthroughs and/or parodies, remixes, etc. and people who like that video game/movie will be like "OMG another fan!", "Oh, I love this music remix they did of that one song that came from the OST!", "Finally, another Sparta Mix of (put something ridiculous here)!" For example, Crash Bandicoot. I found a channel that was all Crash Bandicoot. The person would do the unnecessary censorship of cutscenes (those were HILARIOUS, btw.)they had some music remixes from music from the games, even had a comic-book-video thing based off the games (convincing and realistic) and even made their own music for the fallen heroes...excuse me... VILLAINS... that Activision screwed up in the later games... as a memorial RIP thing for the original and classic characters.
Whoa, I'm getting off topic. Anyways, I felt like, "Hey, this person is cool. Instead of spending hours just staring at a picture of a character on YouTube like the rest of us, they are making their own videos and putting their own humorous spin on it... it's almost like it's targeting a particular group of people... a group of crash fans..."
It may be wrong in the eyes of YouTube to put up video game footage that is remixed, but MAN do the people love it!
My evil plan to gain YouTube popularity: Pick some part of pop culture thing I like, I might go with a video game, and just make videos of that. It's just as evil as those Activia commercials, targeting women to eat their ugly yogurt. When I climb that ladder of popularity amongst the (insert a series of video games here)fans, I shall have total control over them! And I'll do that for other video games! Even more! Before they know it, they will be a fan of a fan, and once they are, I will show them my original work that has absolutely nothing to do with Crash Bandicoot or Resident Evil. Like it or not, they WILL all see it, and it WILL get me a record deal/ give me a career in video making-stuff!
INGENIOUS!
Though I totally doubt this plan will work, it is worth a shot. It does seem kind of unreasonable, now that I think of it... Yeah, I don't expect this to work at all. But I'll do it for the heck of it anyways! For de fun!
